CECILIE NETTELAND
An artist inspired by Costa Blanca, Spain

Cecilie Netteland is born in Bergen, Norway in 1973. Already as a child her creativity was notable, especially within drawings and painting, playing with shape and colours. She took her education within drawings, shapes and colours and later on textile design. Since 2012 Cecilie have worked partly from Spain, it was in Spain she found the inspiration to become a full time artistic painter. Costa Blanca, and especially Altea, has a rich artistic environment with a mix of Spanish and foreign artists living here. Cecilie have spent several years as a student off the well-known artists Hans Petter Fjugstad, who also live and work in Altea, his artwork can be found all over the world.

Artists comes to Costa Blanca for unique inspiration they get here, Cecilie is no different, the ocean, colours and light give endless inspiration and happiness to her paintings. She is also very fond of animals, therefore it was a natural part of her artistic evolution to start painting animals. She has received many orders for animal portraits, were the owners want to create a lifelong memory of their pets. Technique: acrylic and oil paintings. Cecilie Netteland nace en Bergen, Noruega, en 1973. Ya desde su infancia su creatividad fue notable, especialmente en dibujos y pintura, jugando con formas y colores. Realizó su educación en dibujos, formas y colores y más tarde en diseño textil. Cecilie se traslada a España en 2012 y con el cambio vino la inspiracióón para convertirse en un pintor artístico a tiempo completo. La Costa Blanca, y especialmente Altea, tiene un rico ambiente artístico con una mezcla de artistas españoles y extranjeros que viven aquí. Cecilie ha sido durante varios años estudiante del destacado artista Hans Petter Fjugstad, que también vive y trabaja en Altea, cuya obra se puede encontrar en todo el mundo.

Muchos artistas vienen a la Costa Blanca en busca de inspiración única, Cecilie no es diferente, los océanos, los colores y la luz dan la inspiración sin fin y la felicidad de sus pinturas. Su gran pasión por los animales, ha contribuido a su natural evolución art ística para comenzar a pintar animales. Ha recibido muchos pedidos de retratos de animales, de propietarios que quieren tener un recuerdo para toda la vida de sus mascotas. Técnica: acrílico y óleos.
